We would all like to wish Dr Durie the very best for her future away from the Practice and hope that she will continue to enjoy her many hobbies which include gardening, baking and bread making, jam making, cross stitch and quizzes!

Vacancies

Please see section 16. Current Vacancies for information about an exciting position that has become available in the Practice.

Test Results

Please do not assume that the doctors will phone you with test results.  The Doctors request that you contact the surgery to enquire about the results of any tests you have had carried out.

tests_and_resultsPlease call between 10 and 3pm to enquire about your test results as our reception staff will have more time to deal with your request between these times.

Note that the Practice has a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection and we will only release test results to the person to whom they relate unless that person has given prior permission for the release of this data or they are not capable of understanding the results.

When you have a test done ask how long it will be before the results are returned to the practice. In general we would request that you leave a period of one week from having the tests taken until telephoning for the result.  This gives time for the samples to be tested at the labs, reported back to us and checked by the doctors.

It is your responsibility to check your results and to make an appointment to discuss them with your doctor if your are advised to do so.

Samples being handed in to the surgery need to be handed in at Reception before 12 noon or they may not be processed and you will have to repeat the test.
